Our camp welcomes children ages 4 through 12. During camp hours, participants are thoughtfully grouped into small, age-appropriate cohorts to ensure engaging activities, individualized attention, and a positive experience for every child.


Summer Kids Camp runs from the week of June 8 through the week of August 17.
Our program offers weekly sessions throughout the summer, with a variety of structured activities, swim days, and special events planned each week.

Yes. Campers participate in one field trip each month during the summer. To help keep weekly camp pricing as affordable as possible, the cost of field trips is shared—the camp covers half of the admission cost, and families are responsible for the remaining half. Advance notice and permission slips will be provided.
Yes. Swimming takes place at the community pool and is supervised by camp staff in coordination with certified lifeguards on duty.

If weather conditions are unfavorable, outdoor activities may be adjusted or moved indoors to ensure camper safety while maintaining an engaging day.
To register, families may call or stop by the front desk of the Ephrata Recreation Center to complete registration and pay the required deposit.
Weekly camp tuition will not be charged until the Wednesday prior to your child’s scheduled week of attendance.
Pool access is not automatically included with camp registration. We do offer a discounted daily rate for families who do not have a pool membership. Pool memberships are sold separately by the borough and may be purchased at the Ephrata Recreation Center.
For families who do not purchase a membership, $6 cash must be provided at drop-off on swim days. If swimming is canceled due to rain, the cash payment will be returned. If the pool closes early due to weather, campers will receive a weather pass, which may be used to cover their pool cost on the next scheduled swim day.

This must be paid in cash at drop off on Tuesdays and Thursdays if your child does not have a pool pass.
Pottery works will come to the Ephrata Recreation Center. Campers will be able to paint something of their choosing. Pottery Works will take it back with them to fire it and then return it to us. Once items are returned, we will send them home with campers.

Campers are permitted to purchase snacks or beverages from the vending machines on Mondays and Fridays. Families who choose to participate may place money in their child’s designated envelope, and a camp counselor will assist the child with their purchase. Parents may set spending guidelines, such as limiting purchases to one item or a specific daily amount (e.g., $2 per day).
Participation in vending machine purchases is completely optional.
